I know that i must be missing something very basic regarding this in DVDA, and i think the help in DVDA lacks of examples such as "if you name it like this, you get this" and "To have the buttons name show up in DVDA, do like this.". In Encore one cretaes Layer Sets in Photoshop the name i give the Layer Set is the very name that shows up in Encore making linking buttons much easier when you have let´s say 15 buttons. Maybe that´s the issue, that the menu i create contains highlights-only. I use motion menues, so the name/text is burned into the background video, so now i do the button highlights in Photoshop and name them as "button-01-highlight", "button-02-highlight", etc. If i name a button to "Bonus" i want the word Bonus show up in DVDA´s interface.
What i am looking for is a way in DVDA to make the buttons i made in Photoshop to show up with the very name i gave them in Photoshop. I have used Encore since ver 1.0 so naming conventions in Photoshop for layers in Encore is something i can do even if you wake me up 3 am. I am talking about the help file for DVDA. I'm just Voluntary Moderator in this forum.Īre you talking about the HELP file in Encore or DVDA? I only use PSD files in both and it does get a bit confusing.
